Project PEACE facilitators will usually run the first one or two full 8-week programs, with nonprofit staff serving as co-teachers. Once staff feel comfortable with the material and have attended a facilitator training, the sessions are theirs to run. Project PEACE facilitators will continue offering support and resources, as well as back-up coverage when needed. We will always be available to walk through questions or new resources with you!

The nature of after-school programming means you’ll likely have teens missing sessions or even starting partway through a program. That’s okay! If you’re able, use their workbooks to walk through the basic principles they’ve missed and encourage them to be active participants in the subsequent activities and discussions. Peer support can be a great way for students to catch up—and others to gain leadership skills.

Once Project PEACE has been established at a nonprofit, we generally run one program in the fall/winter and one program in the spring. We also offer a summer program at a single location each year.
